Drs. Philip Spinella and Matthew Neal of the Trauma and Transfusion Medical Research Center win a DARPA award!

Congratulations to University of Pittsburgh's Trauma and Transfusion Medical Research Center's co-Directors Drs. Philip Spinella and Matthew Neal on receiving the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) award under the Fieldable Solutions for Hemorrhage with bio-Artificial Resuscitation Products (FSHARP) program! This $46.4 million award will focus on the development of synthetic whole blood development which is a critical need for our military members and civilians alike.
