CMMR Director, Dr. Ron Poropatich presented at the Pitt McGowan Weekly Seminar Series

Center for Military Medicine Research Director, Dr. Ron Poropatich, presented to members of the Pitt McGowan community about how they can get involved with Department of Defense (DoD) medical research opportunities. The title of his talk was "DoD Sponsored Medical Research: Funding Sources and Tips for Success." It was a nice crowd gathered to hear from Dr. Poropatich about the tips, strategies and things to know when engaging in medical research for the DoD. BREAKING NEWS...The Center for Military Medicine Research, McGowan Institute for Regenerative Medicine and our friends at University of Pittsburgh's Office of Industry and Economic Partnerships, Office of Sponsored Programs and University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy's Program Evaluation and Research Unit (PERU) would like to announce that University of Pittsburgh was selected as one of the 56 prime contractors for the Defense Health Agency's Omnibus IV contract! This is a 5-year with a 5-year renewal with a total potential award (for the whole program) of up to $10 billion!
