Nature magazine has published a new paper that features military and University of Pittsburgh researchers. The title of the paper is "Adopting and expanding ethical principles for generative artificial intelligence from military to healthcare." The underlying purpose of this paper is to study the ethical dilemmas and challenges posed by the integration of generative AI into the healthcare practice.

Dr. Poropatich met with Major General/Retired Dan Lecce, DCSA Deputy Director and William Lietzau, Director of DCSA to discuss collaborative opportunities and how the University of Pittsburgh can address DCSA's needs through our research capabilities.

This was a 1 1/2 day seminar to discuss the benefit of digital solutions and AI in anatomic pathology.
