CMMR hosted a Veteran's Day Appreciation Reception on Thursday, November 9th.

The team at the Center for Military Medicine Research hosted members of the University of Pittsburgh community for a Veterans Day reception at the University Club Library on Pitt's campus on Thursday, November 9, 2023. This was an opportunity to celebrate the contributions of the Pitt community whom served in the military and are now serving as professors, clinician, staff members, etc. at the University of Pittsburgh.

CMMR Director, Dr. Ron Poropatich was featured in the University of Pittsburgh's "Veterans in Focus" Report

Center for Military Medicine Research Director, Dr. Ron Poropatich was featured in the University of Pittsburgh's "Veterans in Focus" Report on November 11, 2022 for Veteran's Day along with Drs. Rory Cooper and Brad Nindl. Dr. Poropatich had the opportunity to discuss the innovative research of the TRACIR (Trauma care in a Rucksack) project that is ongoing in development here at the University of Pittsburgh. 

The University of Pittsburgh was ranked at a top university for Veterans in US News & World Report!

The University of Pittsburgh received a top ranking as a university for veterans. US News & World Report Best Colleges Report has ranked the University of Pittsburgh #34 for veterans. In conjunction, the University of Pittsburgh has increased its ranking in undergraduate computer science (#54) and undergraduate business (#34).
